Se Hee Kim L.Ac, MSTOM

“As an Eastern medicine doctor specializing in acupuncture and herbal medicine, I am committed to guiding individuals toward healing and restoration in both their physical health and overall well-being.”

Se Hee Kim is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist, and a board-certified Diplomate in Acupuncture and Herbology, credentialed by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She is licensed to practice in both New York and New Jersey, reflecting her commitment to providing safe, effective, and compassionate care across diverse communities.

Her path to medicine has been shaped by a rich and diverse background. Before entering the field of Eastern medicine, Se Hee earned a degree in Engineering and worked in finance in South Korea, followed by a decade of creative work in New York. These experiences gave her a unique perspective on human connection, problem-solving, and empathy—all of which now inform her healing practice.

Se Hee graduated from Pacific College of Health and Science, where she received formal training in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has further refined her clinical expertise through advanced training in Kiiko Matsumoto, Trigger Point, and Master Tung techniques. In addition, she has spent several years under the mentorship of Master Cho, Il Young, gaining hands-on experience with complex cases including post-oncology care, autonomic imbalances, autoimmune disorders, stroke, severe orthopedic conditions, and women’s health concerns.

Her passion for women’s health, fertility, and pediatrics is deeply personal—shaped by her own journey through infertility, frequent miscarriage, a geriatric pregnancy, and postpartum recovery. During these pivotal moments, eastern medicine served as her primary source of care, offering not only effective treatment but also enduring relief and support.

Having grown up in South Korea, Se Hee witnessed firsthand how eastern medicine was seamlessly integrated into everyday healthcare, trusted to address a wide spectrum of both acute and chronic conditions. This early exposure instilled in her a deep appreciation for its wisdom and long-term healing potential.

As a mother of two, Se Hee has also experienced the transformative power of chinese medicine within her own family. These personal experiences have further deepened her understanding of the intimate connection between healing and hope, guiding her to approach every patient with sincerity, compassion, and attentiveness.

Her mission is to help patients find freedom from suffering while empowering them with the knowledge and tools to support their own health and that of their families. With a heart for service, Se Hee is devoted to creating a healing space where individuals can experience peace, balance, and wholeness—body, mind, and spirit.
