Se Hee Kim L.Ac, MSTOM
“As an Eastern medicine doctor specializing in acupuncture and herbal medicine, I am committed to guiding individuals toward healing and restoration in both their physical health and overall well-being.”
My journey has been shaped by a diverse background. I graduated in Engineering and spent over six years working in finance in South Korea. Driven by a passion for art, I moved to New York to study visual arts and worked as a graphic designer for over ten years. These experiences have given me a unique perspective on creativity, human connection, and compassion, which now influence my healing practice.
I graduated from Pacific College of Health and Science, where I received formal training in Traditional Chinese Medicine. I have further honed my skills in Kiiko Matsumoto, Trigger Point, and Master Tung techniques, and a few years of clinical training with mentorship from Master Cho, Il Young. Currently, I am shadowing my master and gaining hands-on experience with complex cases such as post-oncology care, autonomic imbalances, autoimmune disorders, stroke, and severe orthopedic conditions.
My passion for women’s health, fertility, and pediatrics stems from my own health challenges, including infertility, miscarriage, a geriatric pregnancy, and postpartum recovery. Throughout these experiences, Eastern medicine was my first line of care, providing both effective treatment and lasting relief.
Growing up in South Korea, I witnessed how seamlessly Eastern medicine was integrated into daily healthcare, trusted to treat a broad range of conditions. This instilled in me a deep appreciation for its effectiveness in promoting long-term wellness.
As a mother of two, I’ve seen firsthand the transformative power of Chinese medicine in my family’s care. These personal experiences have deepened my understanding of the profound connection between healing and hope, guiding me to approach patient care with empathy and compassion.
My mission is to help patients find freedom from suffering and empower them with the knowledge and tools to support their own health and that of their families. With a heart for service, I am dedicated to creating a space where individuals can experience healing, peace, and wholeness—body, mind, and spirit.
